I was approached by a local well respected Interior Designer, to get the bones right in the design of her family Californian bungalow renovation. It involved alterations and additions to the already altered classic home.

The brief for this active family of five was to transform the home, from a young child family home to a teenage family entertainer. A desire to entertain large family and friendship groups was paramount and the kitchen, meals, living had to be able to host these events with ease and sophistication.

A bathroom to accommodate three teenage girls, as well as an extension to accommodate an additional bedroom and ensuite for visiting relatives was also important in the brief.

In keeping with the classic tones of the home we designed the new renovation & addition as simple spaces which flow naturally. Interiors were designed and managed by Bayside Interiors, who it was a joy to work with. 

The family have now had two Christmases in their new home and been incredibly thankful to have the extra space and comfort over lockdowns in Melbourne!
